5 Bills to protect animals 💖
1. We outlawed forced swim and smoking experiments on animals
2. We outlawed convenience killing in pounds
3. We gave animals in medical experimentation a 'right to be released'
4. We created tough animal sexual abuse laws
5. We stopped animal abusers from being able to work with animals
It is not easy to pass a bill - in fact most MPs will never pass a single bill. We are among the top MPs in passing bills - and of course we are the only ones passing them on animal protection.
Of course we've changed many other laws - we've done that through passing amendments to Government Bills, convincing the Government to put up a Bill we want passed, or changing laws through regulations that don't need bills passed. So if there's something you've seen us announce that isn't on this list- that's why :)
