Good morning and welcome back!
Hoping the Easter break was enjoyable and the school holidays not too stressful

Playgroups this week are as follows:
Wednesday - Glenmorgan State School 10am - 12pm
Friday - The Early Years Place Tara 9am-11am

There will be no playgroup for Meandarra this week, sorry. Staff are away for training. We are looking forward to seeing you next week

Playgroup is a FREE service offering a range of activities to children aged 0-3

As the Festival of Culture approaches quickly, as does Bookweek! This year we will be choosing a COUNTRY.
Comment your idea's and suggestions on a Country/Continent so we can collaboratively decide what Country we will be dressing up as this year.

The below Countries are spoken for by the surrounding schools/classes.
Great Britain

Japan
South Africa
Egypt
Australia
Chile
South Korea
USA
Ireland

Make playdough with your little ones for some holiday fun!
All you need is:
2 cups Plain Flour
1 cup Salt
4 teaspoons Cream of Tartar (approximately half a tub)
2 teaspoons of Oil
2 cups of boiling water
Food colouring (optional)

Add all DRY ingredients into a bowl.
Add in the oil, food colouring and boiling water and mix until combined
It will thicken slightly as it's cooling. Take from the bowl and knead.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge

Ingredients can be divided for a smaller batch of playdough.

The P2L Team would like to thank you for all of your support this year so far. We have experienced plenty of change these past couple of months and we appreciate you working with us and being such an important part of our program.

For those of you that are not aware, playgroup will no longer be operating over the school holiday periods. This time will be used for our staff to work behind the scenes to help keep our program running smoothly. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding. Playgroup will be returning on the week of the 20th April.

Thanks to everyone today for wishing farewell. Thank you all for allowing us to be a part of your families life. Thank you for always being so wonderful. Thank you for the gifts and our party today. You all mean the world to me. I'll be seeing you around!
