#KeepTheChange – Rebuilding Campaign
A group of retiree pals have a plan to help revitalise their hometown. The unofficial ‘Barossa Coffee Boys’ have launched the ‘keep the change’ initiative. And they’re encouraging everyone across Australia to do their part to help their local economy recover.
They’re all former business owners and professionals who meet weekly over a cup of coffee in the main street of Tanunda. So the group feels strongly about sharing this message of continued support for local businesses in order to revitalise their home town and beyond.
As businesses open again, they’re encouraging people to offer their support by telling businesses to ‘keep the change’. Or if they are paying by card, add $5 or $10 on or round up the total.
‘It might not seem like much, but we know every little bit helps – and we’d love to see this campaign Australia-wide because so many small businesses face the same challenges’ the group says.
