🐦 Bird Box Project 🎨

Our Scouts have been busy putting the finishing touches on the bird boxes they have been building over the past few weeks.

After assembling the bird boxes, it was time to get creative with paint and add some colour and personality to their creations. The Scouts enjoyed experimenting with different designs while developing practical skills, creativity and teamwork.

Once completed, the bird boxes will help provide shelter for local birdlife and contribute to our environmental project.

It has been fantastic to see the Scouts learning new skills, working together and taking pride in their work.

This week at Boyne Tannum Scouts, we celebrated the people and moments that make our Group special.
Congratulations to our Chairman Phil on receiving his 2 Year Service Certificate and thank you for your continued support and dedication to our Group. 👏
We also welcomed Cr Mellissa to our ARP, where Scouts shared what they love most about Scouting and the opportunities it gives them.
To top off the night, two Tawny Frogmouths paid a visit near the den and quickly became the centre of attention. A rare and exciting sighting for our Scouts. 🦉🦉

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mums, grandmothers and mother figures in our Boyne Tannum Scouts family 💐
Thank you for the early mornings, late nights, endless support, encouragement and everything you do behind the scenes to help our young people grow and thrive through Scouting.

Boyne Tannum Scouts were proud to march this ANZAC Day, standing together to honour and remember those who have served our country.
It was a special moment for our youth members to take part in such an important community tradition and show their respect.

Cubs and Joeys getting stuck into setting up for our ANZAC sleepover 🇦🇺
From pitching tents and building shelters to sharing stories around the campfire, it was a great night of teamwork, learning and fun.
A special way for our young Scouts to come together, build friendships and reflect on the spirit of ANZAC.
