🌿 Proud to be part of the 2026 Ngarringilanha Rangers Gathering 🌿

The Fresh Footprints team were proud to support and be part of the 2026 Ngarringilanha Rangers Gathering, held at Trelawney last week.

With more than 230 Aboriginal Rangers, representing 32 Ranger teams across four States and Territories, coming together on Country, the Gathering has been a huge undertaking - and we were proud to play our part in helping prepare the property to welcome so many guests to Country.

From getting the grounds ready to pitching in wherever they were needed, the Fresh Footprints team put in the hard work behind the scenes to help make this incredible Gathering possible. 💪🏽🌱

We’re also proud to see both past and current members of the Fresh Footprints team represented in these photos. Our team continues to grow and change, but we're proud of everyone who has been part of the journey.

A big congratulations to everyone involved in bringing the 2026 Ngarringilanha Rangers Gathering together - what an incredible celebration of Aboriginal Rangers, Country, culture and connection. 🖤💛❤️

🌿 Fresh Footprints making their mark! 🌿

This week, the Fresh Footprints team have been out at the Calala BESS site, getting stuck into a big landscaping project - and what a difference they’ve already made!

They’ve been tackling overgrown lawns, tidying up along the roadside, and clearing away sticks, branches, stumps and rubbish to give the site a much-needed freshen-up. 💪🌱

It’s hard work, but the results are already speaking for themselves. A cleaner, tidier site - and another great opportunity for the Fresh Footprints crew to build skills, confidence and pride through their work.

Great work, team! 👏

🛠️ Getting Trelawney Gathering-ready! 🌿

With 250+ people set to converge on Trelawney next week for the second annual Ngarringilanha (Sitting Together) Aboriginal Rangers Gathering, the Fresh Footprints crew have been getting stuck in alongside the LALC Rangers and other staff to get the property looking its best!

From whipper snipping around buildings, mowing and clearing rubbish to tidying up the machinery sheds, there’s been plenty to keep the crew busy!

The team have also been building new furniture for extra tea and coffee stations to make sure there’s plenty of space for everyone to gather, yarn and share a cuppa. ☕️

It’s all part of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into hosting a gathering of this size, and the Fresh Footprints crew have been putting in the hard yards to help make it happen.

Trelawney is getting ready. Ngarringilanha is almost here! 🙌🏽🌿

🏏 From rough ground to game-ready! 👷🏽‍♂️🌱

A great before-and-after from the Fresh Footprints team at No. 1 Oval, right in the heart of Tamworth’s C*D.

On 19 and 21 August, the team got stuck into prepping the area beside the clubhouse for some new turf - removing rock and debris and getting to work grading and levelling the uneven ground.

The result? A beautifully finished slope, even, clean and ready for fresh topsoil and turf. 🙌🏽

No. 1 Oval is one of Tamworth’s key sporting spaces - so it’s pretty special to see the Fresh Footprints crew helping get this much-loved facility looking its best.

Another job done, another skill gained. 💪🏽
Go team! 👏🏽

🌱 Spring-ready at Marsupial Park! 🌿

The Fresh Footprints team has been busy getting the garden beds at Marsupial Park looking fresh and ready for the season ahead! 🙌

Earlier this week, the team tackled a big mulching job across the park, giving the gardens a tidy-up and helping set them up for plenty of new growth as Spring gets underway.

With the warmer weather bringing more visitors out to enjoy the park, the timing couldn’t be better! ☀️🌿

A great day’s work from the Fresh Footprints crew - go team! 👏

🌿 Loving our public spaces 🌿

The Fresh Footprints team has spent the past two days helping improve accessibility and safety at the Tamworth Botanic Gardens.

The crew removed damaged pavers and replaced them with new ones, making the footpaths safer and more accessible for everyone enjoying the gardens' beautiful surrounds and peaceful environment.

Projects like this are a great way for the team to build practical skills while giving back to the community and taking pride in caring for the places we all share.

Great work, fellas! 👏🌱

⚡ New skills on the job! ⚡

In the last month the Fresh Footprints crew have been able to gain hands-on experience working alongside a qualified electrician, completing the labouring required to lay new underground electrical cabling and prepare connections for their worksite.

From trenching and preparing cable runs to learning about the planning, precision and safety involved in bringing power to buildings, the boys have gained valuable insight into a completely different trade. It's been a great opportunity to see how different industries work together on a job site and to build practical skills that will support future employment pathways.

Every new experience is another step towards building confidence, capability and a stronger future. 💪🔧

🔥 Fresh look. Same deadly team. 🔥

The Fresh Footprints crew were out and about across Tamworth last week, looking fresh in their brand new winter hoodies and proudly taking part in NAIDOC Week celebrations.

It was a great week of connecting with community, celebrating 50 Years of Deadly, Aboriginal culture, and standing together to recognise the strength, pride and resilience of our mob.

If you see the Fresh Footprints team around town, don't be shy—stop and say hello! We're proud to be part of our community and were honoured to celebrate NAIDOC alongside so many deadly people.

🔨✨ There's something incredibly satisfying about seeing a job through to the finish line.

While every job is important, it's especially rewarding to step back and see the results of hard work, and what can be achieved with skilled hands, and a great team around you.

This week, the Fresh Footprints team put the final touches on a couple of projects that have come up beautifully - one private and another a community facility. Alongside those larger jobs, we've also been busy with grounds maintenance and graffiti removal across the community.

A big shout out to our crew for another week of making local spaces cleaner, safer, and more welcoming for everyone. 👏🌱
