Funding News
As many of you may now be aware, the Family Law Pathways Network program nationally will conclude on 30 June 2026 following the decision by the Attorney-General’s Department to cease funding for the program.
While this news is disappointing for the family law and support sectors in our region and nationwide, we want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank each and every one of you who has supported the Tamworth FLPN for over 10 years.
Whether you attended events, participated in webinars, contributed to discussions, or simply engaged with the network, your involvement has helped build connections and improve referral pathways across our region for families navigating separation and related challenges.
The Attorney-General’s Department has acknowledged the significant contribution made by the networks over many years and has confirmed that this decision is not a reflection of the quality or value of the work undertaken by networks across Australia.
Our hope is that the connections and knowledge gained through FLPN activities over the years will continue to support and strengthen work with families across Tamworth and the North West region while continuing to enhance collaboration and referral pathways locally long into the future.
Our final June 2026 Newsletter will be out shortly and we will be reaching out to the network to say thanks and seek your ideas on how to build on this foundation into the future.
