At Narrabri this week for the NNWDLG Tournament on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with a mixture of wind 💨 rain 🌧️ and sunshine ☀️ and very tricky 🤷‍♀️🤔😉 greens ⛳️with over 80 ladies teeing 🏌️🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️it up.

Longyard Ladies represented by Lyn Hoy, Robyn Strang, Susan Goodwin, Gail Salter, Wendy Wheeldon and Sandy Cowell (not in the dinner photo due to other commitments).

Sandy - Div 3 - 1st 🥇 18 holes Gross on Wednesday
Gail - Div 1 - 2nd 🥈 18 holes Gross on Wednesday
Robyn - Div 2 - 2nd 🥈 18 holes Nett on Wednesday

Team events are in the photos - congratulations 👏to Gunnedah ladies on winning the Bruce Beveridge Bowl and Michelle & Jane - Scratch Pairs winners.
The Christopher Cook winners were Narrabri and the Champion of Champions was Zoe Tomlinson from Narrabri (also winner of Division 1) on 166, followed by Michelle Johnson on 170 and Gail Salter on 171.

Thanks to the Narrabri ladies for hosting a fun 🤩 few days and the NNWDLG committee for all their work organising the Tournament.

Rain 🌧️ this week at Longyard Golf 👌😊🥳, but still a busy week -

☕️ - Daphne’s Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea 🫖 was held on Thursday and attended by many of the Longyard golfers, past & present, making it an ideal time for a chat 💬, cake 🍰 and a cuppa ☕️.
$1,660 was raised from the raffle and the morning tea .. thanks to all who supported.

Longyard Golf ⛳️ Championships were finalised today ..
after 4 rounds .. congratulations 🍾 to all our ladies who played in one or all of the rounds.

🥳 A Grade was won by Xanthe Macklinshaw by 1 shot over Gail Salter.
🥳 B Grade was won by Judy Jackson with 4 great rounds and she also won the Co-op Cup best 72 hole Nett over the whole field 👏.
🥳 C Grade was won by Robyn Penman.

All results for Saturday and Sunday are in the photos as well as this week’s comp on Wednesday and Friday and the Medal round winners from last Saturday.
Ladies - if you have won a Medal round please collect your envelope ✉️ from the Proshop.

Thank you 🙏 Tamworth Golf Club Lady Golfers 🏌️‍♀️ for a fabulous two days of golf and a huge thank you 🙏 to the Treloar family for 100 years of sponsoring ladies golf ⛳️.

The Treloar Cup on Thursday had 131 players from over 20 clubs, including 15 from Longyard, and was won by Elly Petrie from Tenterfield with 77 off the stick. Elly is a young 19 year old playing off a handicap of 4.

Great weather 😎, great 👍 course and good company … fun 🤩 golf.

The dinner on Thursday night was well attended, beautifully decorated and the history of the Treloar Cup was celebrated with lots of memories and laughter 😂 from Terry Hayes and Gail Salter and Phoebe Furneaux, with many past champions in the room and some wonderful photos and memorabilia.

The Shamble on Saturday had 115 players in teams of 4 and it was great to see Jude, Jo, Caz and Robyn with a wonderful score of 97 taking second place in a very competitive field 👏👏.
