Amputee Association Tamworth NSW Base Hospital Clinic This web site has been developed to assist all amputees in finding helpful and current information on support and assistance available to amputees in NSW.

Amputee Association of NSW was established in July 1989 by a group of members from Sydney, Newcastle and Central Coast Associations. The NSW Association was formed as an umbrella group to give a more forceful voice on behalf of all amputees within NSW and to enable insurance coverage for volunteers on Associations’ business.

No one should have to suffer through the loss of a limb alone and uninformed. One way to further your continuing education is to join a local amputee support group. Amputee Support Groups are a great resource of emotional support and education. There are a number of amputee support groups throughout NSW and of course Australia wide. Contact details are available here for you to be able to get in touch with somone in your area.
