Wow what fantastic turnout especially on a cold winter night.

Tonight we welcomed a fantastic group of young people and their families to our mid year cadet recruit intake Information Night.

It was great to see so many interested in learning more about the opportunities, challenges, skills, and friendships that cadets can offer. Attendees were given an overview of the program, training activities, camps, leadership opportunities, and what it means to be part of our cadet unit.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to come along and ask questions. We look forward to welcoming our new recruits and seeing them begin their cadet journey in the coming weeks.

If you couldn’t make it tonight but would like more information about joining, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

We can’t wait to see the next generation of cadets get started!

Hope Dawson was selected to represent New South Wales at the National Regimental Sergeant Major of the Army Drill Competition through the Australian Army Cadets.

Travelling to Canberra over the Easter weekend, Hope competed at the prestigious Royal Military College Duntroon and the Australian Defence Force Academy.

Her team proudly returned home with gold for New South Wales. An outstanding achievement that reflects her dedication, leadership and commitment to excellence.

We are incredibly proud of Hope and the way she has represented her state and community. We have so many amazing students at Oxley, all forging their own unique paths to success. We are incredibly fortunate to be part of their journey and to support them as they grow, achieve and thrive.

Competing against top teams across the Nation, the standard of drill was tested at the highest level, with a focus on precision, timing, and discipline.
