TMLAC AGM This Sunday 📢

This Sunday we're holding our AGM and we'd love to see some new faces come along!

From coaches and BBQ helpers to social media, uniforms, fundraising and Friday night set-up, every great season happens because of parents and community members who put their hand up to help.

The good news? Helping out doesn't have to be a huge commitment. We only meet a handful of times each year and many of our roles are simple, shared between multiple people, or only require a little bit of time throughout the season.

📰💚 Another familiar face in the recent addition of Tamborine Mountain News! 💚📰

A huge shoutout to one of our wonderful Little Athletics mum, Penny Gale, who was featured in the Hearts of the Mountain section 🥰

Many of our families would know Penny from Friday afternoons, always cheering on the kids, helping out, and somehow managing to do it all with a smile!

It was so lovely reading more about her passion for community, creativity and protecting the beautiful environment we’re lucky to call home 🌿🎨

Just a reminder that pie order collection is happening tomorrow!

Please make sure you collect your orders during the pick-up window tomorrow. If you’re unable to make it, please arrange for someone to collect on your behalf.

Like most community sporting clubs, our Centre is run entirely by volunteers - parents, grandparents, coaches and helpers all pitching in to make Friday nights happen for the kids.

The more people we have helping out, the easier it is on everyone and the more we can continue to grow and improve our Centre for our athletes 💚

And helping doesn’t always mean taking on a huge role either. It could be:

🥓 Helping on the BBQ
📱 Doing a few social posts
🛒 Organising the weekly Coles order
⏱ Assisting with timing or setup
🙋 Or simply lending a hand where needed

Every little bit truly makes a difference.

So cool to see our Presentation Afternoon featured in the recent edition of Tamborine Mountain News, and to look back on such a fun season on the mountain.

From muddy shoes and Friday afternoon chaos, to PBs, Centre records, Spirit Awards and plenty of laughs along the way - we’re pretty lucky to have such an awesome little athletics community 💚💙

🎉 1 MORE SLEEP! 🎉

We can’t wait to celebrate our amazing athletes tomorrow at our Presentation Afternoon.

And just to confirm - we’re going ahead rain, hail or shine!

The forecast is looking good (no rain expected from around 4pm 🤞), and while the venue is open, we do have cover, so we’ll be celebrating either way! Just make sure to rug up in case it’s a little chilly.

👕 And don’t forget: All athletes to wear their polos

Bring your smiles, your cheers, and get ready for a fantastic afternoon! 🎉
