2026 Site Update:
✅ NEW for 2026 ONLY - Tamborine Mountain Landcare have placed a number of piles of mulch to the southern boundary of our site, in preparation for National Tree Day on 26 July. These piles are OUT OF BOUNDS to all persons.
✅ Groups are requested to set up their areas and marquees as per the attached Site Map. Please remain clear of the park run track to the immediate rear of this area, as this is used as the starting point for our hikes!
🚻 Portable toilets will be in place to the side of the Scout Den driveway. Youth members are reminded to walk to and from this location in pairs. These toilets are not a play location.
❌ Previous years have seen unknown persons attempt to break components of the portable toilets! We don't know what the fascination is with these acts. These toilets have been hired, and any repair costs may be borne by the offending member's Group.
🚭 Smoking is not permitted at this event; however, we recognise that some attendees may wish to participate in a smoke or v**e. These persons are requested to move to the far eastern driveway entrance, well clear of any youth members.
✅ The Registration and First Aid Marquees will be located at the front of the Scout Den (marked with Gold Coast Region). Team Officials are required to attend to sign in and collect their shirts & badges. We don't require the youth members for this process (we also can't fit 100+ young persons in this area at the same time)!
