We are excited to be partnering with Albury Wodonga Foodshare to bring a Community Food Program to Tallangatta.

This program will provide access to free food for individuals and families in our community, helping to make healthy food more accessible while supporting people through life's ups and downs.

At Tallangatta Neighbourhood House, we believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness and respect. The Community Food Program will offer a welcoming and inclusive space where community members can access support without judgement.

More information will be available soon, including opening times and how the program will operate.

Botanical Gel Plate Painting Workshop

Sunday morning saw participants arrive at "the house” with handfuls of leaves, grasses or interesting bits of foliage from gardens, paddocks or favourite walking spots.

With a little help from Kylie at Art Starts Here, everyone began their botanical printing journey. Colour and texture, along with layering techniques were used to create a collection of artworks inspired by nature.

A creative morning filled with nature, colour, conversation, cups of tea and a little bit of magic.

🌟 Tiny Tots Dance Pop-Up Classes 🌟

Calling all little dancers aged 2–4 years! Join us for a magical dance experience filled with music, movement, imagination and fun. 💃✨

Children will explore dancing, jumping, twirling and creative play while using exciting props including scarves, ribbons, hoops and more!

Our Tiny Tots classes help children develop:
🎵 Rhythm and musicality
🤸 Coordination and movement skills
👂 Listening and following instructions
👫 Social interaction and turn-taking
🌈 Creativity and self-confidence

Most importantly, it’s a fun and joyful introduction to the world of dance!

A carer is someone who provides unpaid support to a family member, friend, or neighbour who may need assistance due to disability, illness, frailty, or other circumstances. Caring for others can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be physically, emotionally, and mentally demanding.

Carers often put the needs of others before their own, so this is an opportunity to take some time for yourself, connect with others who understand your journey, and learn about supports available in our community.
