🆘 Help shape the future of public libraries in South Australia.
📚 Libraries have long played an important role in the lives of South Australians. They connect people with information, ideas, learning opportunities, technology, local history and each other. They support lifelong learning, literacy, creativity and community wellbeing.
👨‍👩‍👧 As communities change, so do the opportunities and challenges facing libraries.
📝 The Libraries Board of South Australia is developing an integrated Strategic Plan 2027-2032 that will guide the future of the State Library and public libraries across our state and is seeking input from South Australians to help inform that work.
👂 Whether you're a regular public library user, an occasional visitor, a parent, student, educator, researcher, community member or someone who values the role libraries play in society, we want to hear from you.

When chatting with little ones, we often start by asking lots of
questions - but too many at once can be a bit overwhelming!

For every question you ask during play, try to make four
comments about what you or your child are doing.

‘I wonder what would happen if...’
‘You’re building such a big tower!’
‘I love the picture you’re drawing.’
‘The car is going fast around the track, vroom, vroom!’

This helps to create flowing conversation that displays different
sentence structures and encourages children to share their
thoughts and ideas with you, without the pressure.
