1 - CAMBODIA
OPEN ARMS SCHOOL

In 2018 a school was started for the street kids in Phnom Penn Cambodia. Cambodia is one of the worst places in the world for human trafficking particularly for young children. LifeHouse International has helped start and fund a school for those most at risk. Starting with just 15 students, the school has grown to over 40 children of all ages and not only provides education but acts as a safe house, vocational training facility and food distribution Centre where the children not only get fed themselves but are involved in feeding over 100 impoverished people in their community every week. Your Laps For Life sponsorship will help to continue funding vital food, medical supplies and education for this community in desperate need.

2 - COMPASSION AUSTRALIA - PHILIPPINES
The Philippines is one of the few countries in the world with increasing poverty levels in the 21st century. The effects of Covid, typhoons, bad sanitation, lack of social welfare and natural resources have all taken their toll on this close neighbour of ours. LifeHouse International and Laps For Life have adopted the Bicol region in this beautiful Archipelago, sponsoring over 100 children. Your Laps For Life contribution will help fund the ongoing feeding, education and support of these 100 children as well as community projects such as rebuilding after disasters, access to clean water and other needs as they arise.

3 - LIFEKIDS - MURRAY BRIDGE
LifeKids has been serving the children of Murray Bridge for the last 28 years. As part of a registered not-for-profit organization they provide transportation, food, care and support on a weekly basis for 80 to 100 children, ministering to the needs of almost 200 children across the Murraylands region. Your support of Laps For Life will provide much needed funds to provide food, transport and resources to help us effectively care for these children in need in our local community.

The first official Laps For LIFE day is done and dusted but with a lasting legacy from the donations made to the less fortunate all around world. Despite the early forecast of rain, we were blessed with blue skies, sunshine and a dry track all day. The smiles on the faces of the 9 participants pretty much sum up the day. A special Thank you to all the pit crew that assisted to make this day so special. Looking forward to many more passenger session to come!

Welcome to Laps For LIFE. Some of you may know the story behind this new charity venture, but for those of you who may be wondering, here is the "short version" of how this eventuated. Basically, it started through a prayerful encounter with God on a journey to Adelaide along the SE Freeway late last year. As strange as this may sound, God clearly instructed me to buy a full blown race car and take people for paid passenger laps around my home race track 'The Bend' and give away 100% of the proceeds to various missions around the world. The title Laps For Life was instantly placed in my mind, and within 1hr of this whole venture being placed upon my heart, I found myself sitting at the Lamborghini dealership signing up to a 1/1 car miraculously available with a very short waiting time frame. How could I say no! I don't want my name up in lights or to personally take all the credit. My desire is to bless and love the less fortunate, so at the end of the day, all I'm doing is following the call on my heart. To him be the Glory. Since that special day, the provisions, support and answered prayers have been mind blowing to say the least. Thank you to everyone who has supported this venture so far, and I truly believe that there will be some very big blessings, smiles and joyful hearts all around the world, generated through this mission and the generosity of participants.
