Read is more than a color. It has many meanings. In the MMIWP movement, it’s a statement of remembrance that our people are still missing, deserving of justice, and still loved.

Wear red in a way that feels right to you.
Ribbon skirts. Regalia, Red shirts. Beadwork. Or even change your Profile Picture to an MMIWP. However you show up-Show up with intention.

At the Community Domestic Violence Advocacy Program, we’re proud to wear blue on Fridays to show our support for children, families, and safer communities. 💙 Together, we can raise awareness, spark conversation, and stand united in prevention and hope.

We warmly invite MMIWP impacted families to join our talking circle. Share a safe, supportive space to come together in community, share stories (if and when you want to), honor loved ones, and be with others who understand the weight of this experience.
This circle is about connection, not pressure; families can participate in whatever way feels right for them, whether that means speaking, listening, or simply being present. Together, we create space for healing, cultural strength, mutual support, and shared understanding, while also helping reduce isolation and reminding one another that no family carries this alone.
