Another beautiful day at Container of Dreams ❤️🏡

Today was filled with the things that matter most — laughter, friendship, and checking in with one another after what’s been a rough week for some. Everyone jumped in with the cooking (so much for too many cooks in the kitchen 😄), and sharing laughs while preparing lunch together was such a highlight. We all agreed how nice it was to sit down to a proper meal, slow down, and spend some time talking and supporting each other.

We also made progress on the tiny house, getting started on the exterior cladding and doing a bit of problem-solving around the doors and windows. Thankfully, John was on the case as always, figuring things out along the way! Thanks to everyone who came along today — see you all next week 🙏❤️

Big progress at Container of Dreams today 🏡✨

Even though everyone was moving a little slower than usual today, that didn’t stop the fun, laughs, and great camaraderie on site. We made awesome progress on the tiny house, getting the windows and doors installed — it’s really starting to come together!

A huge thank you to Christine for making a delicious pumpkin and sweet corn soup for lunch, which was a massive hit. We also got deliveries out, and Suki took the truck for a spin… the mysterious beeping noise definitely gave us all a good laugh 😂🚚

And to top it all off, we locked in a new date for our raffle draw — New Year’s Eve! 🎉

Cook-Up Day at Container of Dreams 🍲❤️
What a fantastic day in the kitchen today, cooking up delicious meals to help support those doing it tough in our community. We also have some frozen meals available for sale at $12.50 each if anyone would like some!

On the menu this round: vegan & gluten-free lentil Dahl with vegetables and rice, chicken and mushroom carbonara pasta, and beef meatballs in tomato sauce with mash and veg. Plenty of laughs were shared, good vibes all around, and a huge thank you to Sheryl and Christine for coming along and helping make the day so special. 🙌✨

Week 3 of our Tiny House Building Workshop 🏡🔨✨
What a day! Plenty of mucking around, plenty of laughs, and somehow an equal amount of work got done too. Best of all — we got the roof on, which was a huge milestone!

The fun didn’t stop there… John even busted out a little dance, which amused us all 😂 🕺 Another awesome day with an awesome crew! 🙌
