São Paulo, Brazil — On June 4, 2026, thousands of Christians gathered for the 34th edition of the “Marcha para Jesus” (March for Jesus), one of the world’s largest evangelical events.

Participants marched through the streets of São Paulo, singing, praying, and publicly declaring their faith during the Corpus Christi holiday. Aerial footage of the massive crowd quickly spread online, with the official route starting at Estação Luz and ending at Praça Heróis da FEB.

Organizers described the event as a powerful day of worship and prayer for Brazil.

While one estimate placed attendance around 35,000, past editions have drawn significantly larger crowds, and many participants celebrated it as a record-breaking gathering of faith.

🚨 WHERE ARE THIS MAYOR’S PRIORITIES? 🚨

This mayor has wasted millions and millions of your rate dollars on festivals that cause division while neglecting the needs of Liverpool residents.

📊 A budget is much more than numbers on a page. It’s a moral document that reveals your priorities. A city’s priorities are revealed by where it spends its money.

His spending policies are filled with “waste” and that ratepayers money should be redirected toward priorities that directly benefit residents. His festivals budget is an obscenity and should be dramatically reduced and that money should be redirected into cleaning up Liverpool as it’s a gigantic mess.

❓ The question every ratepayer should be asking:

Should your money be spent on more festivals…

OR

🚮 Cleaning up Liverpool?
🏡 Cleaner streets.
🌳 Better maintained parks.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio begins his India visit in Kolkata, with a stop at Missionaries of Charity, a move that is being interpreted in diplomatic circles as a subtle signal on rising concerns over religious freedom and the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) debate.

The timing comes amid heightened attention on proposed FCRA amendments, which have drawn criticism from some Christian groups and US lawmakers over their potential impact on minority-run institutions.

US Congressman Chris Smith has urged Rubio to raise the issue during his India visit, citing concerns over the suspension of foreign funding licences and its effect on churches, schools, and charitable organisations.

Supporters of the proposal argue it is aimed at tightening transparency in foreign donations, while critics warn it could expand state control over NGO funding flows.
