❌ ☹️ URGENT in a NSW pound ☹️ ❌

Beautiful CHUNKY has been overlooked and is now at risk in a NSW pound 😢 He is not coping in the pound environment and must find a home NOW‼️

🚨 We have NO space at the rescue 🚨

He is an absolutely gorgeous and clever, big boy who has worked incredibly hard during his time in the shelter. Despite the challenges of adjusting to shelter life, he has made excellent progress with his training and now confidently responds to commands including sit, drop, recall, shake 👍

Chunky would thrive with an experienced, confident owner who enjoys training and can provide him with lots of love, structure, exercise & ongoing confidence-building 😊

He is best suited to a home where he will be the only dog. He has shown some reactivity to other dogs in the shelter environment but has worked incredibly hard with this and has improved significantly.

In the right home, Chunky will be a deeply devoted, loving and loyal companion ❤️

🧡🐶☹️ Peppi is STILL waiting! ☹️🐶🧡

Peppi is wondering where his people are⁉️

He has finished his training program and is patiently still waiting for a home and a family to call his his own 🙏 A pup should not be boarding in a kennel, he needs a home, to use and keep consistent with all the skills he has learnt and to feel wanted, safe and loved.

Our absolutely gorgeous boy has the sweetest little face and loves people ❤️ As a young pup that spent most of his time growing up in the pound and in training, Peppi craves human affection. He enjoys being close to humans 🤗 Peppi will need a committed and caring family that are willing to show Peppi that he can be part of a family and life is more than being in a kennel. He will need time to adjust to a home environment.

He is a very sweet, young, loving, energetic, friendly, happy and playful pup that has been well trained 👍

He has completed the amazing Life Skills training Program with K9 Pro - The K9 Professionals. He has learnt how he can do best in new environments - learning skills such as sit with inferred stay, loose leash walking, crate training, place training and recall 🐕

Peppi would be best suited to an active home where he can be included in all activities. As a pup, a family that has experience with Staffy’s and is interested in, enjoys and is committed to continuing his training would be ideal 😊

Peppi is now ready for the next chapter of his life, set with the skills he needs to join a family that can show him structure, consistency, love & commitment 🫶

🧡 About Peppi 🧡
🐾 Breed: American Staffy x
🧒 Gender: Male
🎂 Age: 1 year old
🆔 Microchipped
✅ Desexed, Vaccinated & Flea & worm treated
🏋️ Approximate weight: 25kgs
🐶 Dog Social: Peppi could live with another dog of a similar energy level but a meet and greet would be required to assess compatibility.
🐈 Cats: No cats
🧒 Children: no young children. As a pup, he may inadvertently knock small children over.
🏡 A home with a yard / courtyard would be ideal
🐕 Training: Peppi is in training with K9 Pro. A handover training session will be provided to anyone who adopts Peppi.
💰Adoption Fee: $450
📍Location: Londonderry NSW

🥉🎊 😊 Rescue Hub came third! 😊🎊🥉

We would like to thank each and every person that voted, shared and donated to help us come third in the My Giving Circle grant round that closed on the 30th September this year 🙏 ❤️

For a rescue that receives no funding, winning any grant significantly helps our rescue and the dogs we have in our care, and those that are yet to be saved 🧡

We cannot do what we do without your support and we appreciate it more than you know 🤗

The $3000 that we will be awarded will cover almost one week of fees for the 5 dogs we have in board and train so we are extremely grateful to all our supporters and My Giving Circle who made this possible🫶

The next grant round is open now and you can vote for free here👇

Thank you so very much for your support, generosity, care & compassion for the dogs we save, that mean the absolute world to us 🧡🐾

😊 Leo has been rescued by Monika's Doggie Rescue 😊
We will advise all applicants as soon as possible.

❌☹️ Lovable Leo is SUPER URGENT ☹️❌

Leo is in a NSW pound & needs out now‼️ He has been in a kennel 23.5hrs a day since MAY - almost 5 months 😩

❌ Urgent rescue or home is needed for Leo, he is struggling in the kennel environment. He is not adapting well to the busy shelter surroundings & needs immediate assistance ❌

Just look at that sad little face 😔 Leo is struggling immensely in the kennel environment & needs out as soon as possible. He is sad, anxious and stressed and has lost a significant amount of weight. His situation is NOW EXTREMELY URGENT‼️

This gorgeous man is a very sweet, affectionate boy who loves to cuddle with humans. He will roll into you for pats, hugs and tummy rubs 🤗 He can be jumpy when excited but this is likely the result of being in the stressful environment of the pound.

He is an absolutely beautiful older boy who should not be overlooked 😢 He is very responsive to treats and training and walks well on the lead / harness.

📣 Leo needs a loving home NOW. He does not have any time to waste ⏰
Could you be the one to give him his second chance 🙏

🌞 🎊 Yay, Sonny has been adopted! 🎊🌞

As a young pup Sonny found himself struggling in the pound environment and ended up on a critical list 😢 We saved him and he came to the rescue 🐾 Sonny stole the hearts of everyone he met. Such a sweet, sensitive boy that would happily accept hugs all day if you’d let him 🤗 He even liked to be picked up and carried 😉 Such a character and big, gorgeous baby.

Joe applied to adopt Sonny and came to meet him with his family. Sonny very quickly won everyone over with his loving, affectionate and sweet nature, and of course who could resist that gorgeous face 🥰 He went home with Joe, Tan and Teejay that same day and has now been officially adopted 🎉

⭐️ A few words from Sonny’s family ⭐️

Two years ago, we lost Indie, our beautiful 15-year-old Staffy girl. After losing her, we started dog-minding while taking some time to decide whether we were ready to have another dog of our own. Then we met Sonny and brought him home that very same day 😊 After three months, Sonny has settled into our family so beautifully.
His love, affection, friendliness, endless energy and adorable sooky personality brings us so much happiness every single day 😍

Sonny loves bushwalking, exploring new places and most of all, being part of every adventure with us. Wherever we go, he’s always excited to come along 😀

A massive thank you to Rescue Hub for all your support, guidance and wonderful suggestions along the way. Without your help, we’re not sure we could have made it work, and we’re so grateful that we’ve been able to keep Sonny with us. Thank you for helping Sonny find his forever home 🏡 and for helping us find a new piece of our hearts ❤️
Thank you
Joe, Tan, Teejay & Sonny 🌞

Sonny had likely never lived in a home with a family so it took a little bit of adjustment time for him but his family did not give up and have been dedicated to helping him be the best dog he can be 💛 Thank you Joe, Tan and Teejay for making Sonny part of your lovely family and giving him a wonderful home 🙏 We know how much he is loved by you all as well as his grandparents, and we couldn’t have asked for a better home for him. We welcome you all into the Rescue Hub family 🧡🐾

📣 How about adopting happy Huey⁉️

🤗 🐾 🐶 Could he be your new BFF 🐶🐾🤗

Huey is such an adorable young boy 🥰 He was in board and train with True Blue Dog Behaviour & Training and did fantastically 👍 He has come to us at the rescue now and has quickly become a big love bug with the volunteers. He loves people and is such a happy boy. He has the most gorgeous, big, irresistible smile! 😀

He is affectionate and even likes to sit in your lap if you let him 😜 He is a gentle, sensitive and very sweet boy who just needed some confidence building when greeting/interacting with other dogs which he worked on in training and made incredible progress in such a very short time. He could live with another dog 🐕 He is incredibly bright and well trained 👍

Huey will need a loving, caring and supportive home. He will need a family dedicated to providing him with continued training that he has already learnt, as well as structure and a routine which he likely never had before being rescued.

Could Huey brighten every day for you with his big smile? 😀
