PAA has emerged into an association that has voiced and provided assistance to issues faced by Pakistani Australians. Being the flag bearer of multiculturalism we have

upheld our cultural and religious values while integrating with Australian multicultural society. Over the years Pakistani community in Australia has grown, we as an organisation continue to be a platform and voice for Pakistani Australians in today's multicultural Australia.

The poets at the UIA Mushaira 2026: Syed Najam Sibtain Hasni, Musaddaq Lakhani, Dr Urfi Hashmi, Saeed Khan, Ashraf Shad, Dr Shabbir Haider, Arif Sadiq, Arif Mohyeddin, Rehan Alavi, Javed Nazar, Naveed Ali Khan, Shuja Atif, Dr Kashif Butt, Dr adnan Syed, Md Ali Bukhari congratulations ! dear Ashraf shad sahab, respected Yasmin shad sahiba , respected Huma Mirza sahiba ،، respected sayed Muhammad Ali shah sahib , respected Tehmina rao sahiba …and the whole team to pull through such an amazing , thought provoking and joyful event . The president of Pakistan association Australia Mr Iqbal Chaudhry attended this event along with other members of the association to honour this great event.It was a great scene to watch the audience fully engaged with great sense of admiration and appreciation to applaud the beautiful poetry throughout the whole time. The level of poetry was a lot bigger than this event , we did enjoyed it a lot and offer our gratitude and respect to the whole team of the organisers for such a beautiful opportunity to enjoy beautiful poetry …loved the beautiful lines from the poetry of respected Noshi Gilani sahiba کچھ نہیں چاہیئے تجھ سے اے مِری عمرِ رواں
مِرا بچپن ، مِرے جگنو ، مِری گڑیا لا دے
… I have felt such a beautiful delicate clouds like touch of a pure hearted innocent girl’s feelings in her poetry which was free from the modern day complexities of gender biases and so called political correctness… And then came Mr Saeed khan with these lines of poetry …چارہ گر، اےدلِ بے تاب! کہاں آتے ہیں
مجھ کو خوش رہنے کے آداب کہاں آتے ہیں

میں تو یک مُشت اُسے سونپ دُوں سب کچھ، لیکن
ایک مُٹّھی میں ، مِرے خواب کہاں آتے Iہیں . میں ہمشہ سے یہی سمجھتا رہا کہ یہ شعر قتیل شفائی صاحب کا ہے ! سارے تاٹرات لکھنے کے لئے مجھے بھی منہ میں شیر وانی کا بٹن رکھنا پڑیگا 😂 ۔۔۔ آپ سب کا بہت بہت شکریہ 🙏♥️🌹

Deputy Prime Minister /Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Australia Senator Penny Wong.

FM Wong expressed her appreciation for the DPM/FM’s efforts, as well as Pakistan’s constructive role in facilitating dialogue between Iran and the United States. She commended Pakistan’s continued commitment to promoting diplomatic engagement in this regard.

DPM/FM apprised her of held on April 11-12, and reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to continue encouraging dialogue and constructive engagement.

The two leaders expressed concern over the broader implications for the global economy, particularly for developing countries, and emphasised the importance of peaceful resolution of conflicts.

On 3rd February at Granville Centre, the Pakistan Association of Australia in collaboration with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Foundation Australia proudly hosted a meaningful World Cancer Day event filled with awareness, inspiration, entertainment, dinner, networking, and heartfelt moments.

The evening was dedicated to honouring the courage and resilience of those who have battled cancer and to promoting greater awareness within our community. It was truly inspiring to see the community come together in support of such an important cause.
