We've been shining a light and sharing with you all the senseless and tragic killing of Gomeroi man and father of four, Mark Mason Snr by a NSW Police Force officer in 2010.

The 'Death in Custody' (DIC) was investigated through a Coronial Inquiry in 2013 where all five(5) of the police officers involved in Mark's death were cleared of any wrong doing.

Mark Jnr, Steven, Darlene and Trent, Mark's four children have been fighting for Police accountability and justice ever since. They are calling for a new and totally independent investigation into the Police shooting, causing death of their father.

Very sad that we are going BACKWARDS in relation to child incarceration rates for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Is it just us or have we been TALKING about this issue forever? Making the same mistakes over and over and over again, having all these people working in that space, having all that money spent over the past thirty(30) years, having all these Inquires, Coronial Inquests, Parliamentary Inquires, Royal Commissions, and all the hundreds of recommendations made... WHY CAN'T WE FIX THIS? WHY ARE WE GOING BACKWARDS?
