Vietnam Veterans' Day Service – Tuesday, 18 August 2026

The Camden RSL Sub-Branch warmly invites members of our community to join us as we honour the courage, sacrifice and service of the men and women who served during the Vietnam War.

Please note that this year's service will be held at a new location:

📍 Camden Civic Centre – Memorial Garden Monument
31 John Street, Camden NSW 2570
(Please note this is not at Macarthur Park as in previous years.)

🗓️ Tuesday, 18 August 2026
🕥 Please be seated by 10:15am for a 10:30am commencement.

Vietnam Veterans' Day provides an important opportunity for us to reflect, remember and pay our respects to those who served our nation, those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and the families who stood beside them.

We encourage all veterans, their families and members of the community to attend this commemorative service as we remember their service with gratitude.

Lest We Forget.

As we approach this year's VP Day, we look back on last year's commemorative service, where the Wollongong community came together to honour those who served and remember the day that marked the end of the Second World War in the Pacific.

Our Sub-Branch gathered at the Cenotaph to commemorate Victory in the Pacific Day, recognising the significance of 15 August 1945. Members, families and the Illawarra community came together to pay their respects before reconnecting over refreshments.

As we prepare to gather once again this year, we invite our community to join us in remembering the courage, sacrifice and service of those who helped secure peace. Their legacy continues to inspire future generations.

We hope to see you there.
