What a beautiful way to mark 20 years. 🎉
Alberts has just published a wonderful piece by Jane Albert telling the story behind KidsXpress - from a Contiki bus tour in 1998 to becoming a pioneer in expressive therapy in Australia, helping more than 2,900 children each year.
We're so grateful to The Tony Foundation, which has been a longtime supporter of KidsXpress - joining us back in 2017, drawn to the power of music and the arts to help children heal from trauma and build brighter futures.
Thank you to Jane for telling our story with such care.
If you'd like to read about the friendship between co-founders Margo and Paul, the "silver sanctuary," and the little girl who held Margo's hand - we'd love for you to take a look.
Just over 20 years ago, a conversation over an $8 chicken salad resulted in a business that would go on to change the lives of thousands of children impacted by trauma. Regarded today as a pioneer in expressive therapy, KidsXpress stands as proof of what can happen when compassion meets conviction
