Our lovely nurses never stop amazing us.

This Nurses Day, our Little Helpers shared heartfelt video messages, treats, and handmade cards with the incredible nurses at the hospital. In return, the nurses sent us these beautiful photos to express their appreciation for ElsWely friends, school students, volunteers, and everyone involved in creating such meaningful moments of kindness and care.

These gestures remind us of the true beauty of appreciation — not only in giving thanks, but also in taking the time to acknowledge kindness in return. It takes a special heart to care for others every single day, and our nurses continue to inspire us with their compassion, strength, and dedication.

Thank you to all our amazing nurses — you made this moment even more special and inspiring.

Our Little Helpers have been visiting nursing homes and elderly members of the community for over a decade, sharing kindness, laughter, and companionship.

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the beautiful connections created across generations and the joy that even the smallest acts of kindness can bring.

Together, we can make the world a more caring and special place for everyone.

On International Day of the Midwife, our little helpers shared sweet treats, handmade cards, and heartfelt thank-you video messages to honour the amazing midwives who care for others with kindness and compassion every day. In return, the midwives shared beautiful photos and messages for us to pass on to all participants, creating smiles and meaningful connections across generations.

It always matters when we thank someone, but it means even more when others take the time to appreciate, acknowledge, and celebrate kindness together. Small acts of gratitude can inspire big feelings of hope, love, and belonging. Together, we can make the world a more special place — and our little helpers are already leading the way with caring hearts and thoughtful actions.

The thank-you video shared with the midwives was lovingly created by children, student volunteers, and SBS elderly participants, celebrating kindness, gratitude, and connection across generations. Watch here:

Through our “Make Me a Genius” initiative, we proudly support multiple schools and families across our community. From breakfast clubs to fresh fruit and grocery assistance, we’re here to help ensure every child has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.
In return, we simply encourage kids to take part in acts of kindness — whether it’s helping others, showing respect, creating thank-you cards, or giving back to the community in their own special ways.

This work would not be possible without the dedication of our amazing school teachers, supporters, and volunteers. Your generosity, time, and care make a real difference every single day.
Together, we are creating a stronger, kinder, and more connected community — one small act of kindness at a time.

✨ “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”

A Little Kindness Goes a Long Way

Just a gentle reminder that it doesn’t take much to brighten someone’s day. A kind word, a smile, or even a small letter or card can make a world of difference.

Our little helpers show us this every day. Watching children take the time to write cards, draw pictures, or send a message to someone in need reminds us of the power of consistent kindness. It’s not just a one-time act – it’s the small, everyday moments that truly leave an impact.

Every card, every note, every smile is a spark of joy that spreads further than we can imagine. These little acts remind us that anyone, no matter how young, can make a meaningful difference.

Let’s all take a moment to share a little kindness today – you never know whose day you might brighten.

Our Inspire Program – A Beautiful Global Act of Kindness

We are incredibly grateful to see our Inspire Program become such a wonderful success. The response has been truly overwhelming, with children from around the world – from Africa to Pakistan and beyond – sending their heartfelt creativity to us.

Young participants shared beautiful digital cards, letters, drawings, and messages of kindness, each created with genuine care and compassion. It has been inspiring to see how children, even from far away, can connect through simple acts of kindness.

Our amazing volunteers with the support dedicated nursing staff and lifestyle teams of here in Australia shared these messages with our elderly friends in nursing homes.
Seeing the smiles, hearing the stories, and witnessing the joy these messages brought has reminded us of something very powerful:

Kindness truly has no borders.

A small message written by a child thousands of kilometres away can brighten someone’s day, lift spirits, and remind people that they are valued and remembered.

We are deeply thankful to:

The wonderful children who participated
The teachers, families and schools who encouraged them
Our volunteers who made the sharing possible
The incredible nursing staff and lifestyle teams who welcomed these moments of connection

Programs like this show that while we may not be able to change the whole world, each act of kindness can change someone’s world.

Thank you to those amazing coordinators who contacted us and spent so much time with the kids to make this happen. We are truly thankful for your support, and we want you to know that your creativity brought tears of joy to our elderly friends.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. 💙

Our amazing volunteers and students at Burwood Girls High School never cease to astonish us—they go above and beyond every single year! 🌟

For years now, our young heroes have been creating heartfelt cards for elderly residents in Burwood, and this beautiful tradition continues. A huge thank you to Burwood Council for supporting the delivery of these special cards.

We still remember one elderly resident calling out to one of our card makers on the street, recognising her as a Little Helper and coming over just to say "Thank you"! ❤️

Our incredible kids have done so many heartwarming projects: leaving gifts at local elderly homes, hanging "thing-a-long" chains on doors, and sharing messages of love and care.

Here's hoping these small gestures bring big smiles to the faces of our wonderful elderly community—and make such a big impact on both the young ones and seniors!

Thank you all for your love!

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” – Aesop

Little Helpers has proudly supported the Breakfast Club at Emerton Public School every day for many years — just like we do at many other schools. It’s always incredible to see the real impact this program has on the lives of so many children.

As part of our Make Me A Genius program, we support and encourage students to take part in giving-back activities, helping to nurture generosity, empathy, and a strong sense of community.

A heartfelt thank you to all the teachers, donors, and volunteers who make this possible — you’re truly making a difference every single day!
