Oil Painting Workshop - David Lake. 19 April 2026
We are glad to announce that David Lake has accepted an invitation to undertake a workshop for our society.
The first public exhibition of his work was at the Oatley West Art Show in March 1985 and in July 1987 he was accepted as an exhibiting artist at Vivian Art Gallery in Hurstville.
Many years of practice has enabled David to develop his own distinctive style which has won him more than one hundred 1st
prizes and as many commendations from exhibitions across the state.
David is a Fellow of the Royal Art Society of New South Wales, and a member of the Oatley 101 Society of Artists, Orange Art Society, and the Australian Society of Miniature Art.
David’s work is held in private and municipal collections in Australia and private collections overseas, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan and the USA.
TIME: 8.30am – 4.00pm (This includes set-up time and clean-up time)
VENUE: Nepean Art Society Studio, 4 Lawson St Emu Plains
PRICE: $120
