🥬🥕🍍 A great morning in the garden today!

There was plenty happening at Sherwin Park Community Garden. Our Brussels sprouts are coming along beautifully, the carrot bed is producing perfect carrots, we enjoyed some delicious lamingtons over a cuppa, and yes, there was even pineapple growing in the garden!

It’s always a wonderful mix of gardening, learning, and sharing good company. Whether you’re keen to grow your own food, pick up a few gardening tips, or simply enjoy a chat with fellow locals, we’d love to see you.

Come and join us one weekend. There’s always something growing, something delicious to share, and plenty of friendly faces to welcome you. 🌱💚

What a beautiful sunny morning at Sherwin Park Community Garden. ☀️

The winter garden is absolutely thriving, with plenty of fresh produce ready to harvest.

There was a bit of fun this morning as we searched the garden for vegetables for Paul to cook tonight to impress his friends. The winning ingredients were fresh broccoli and Callum’s famous carrots. 🥦🥕

Unfortunately, the Brussels sprouts didn’t quite make the cut this time! 😄

It’s always rewarding to see the garden producing such an amazing harvest while bringing our community together.

🌱🍜 A Great Day at Sherwin Park Community Garden 🍜🌱

After another productive morning in the garden, a group of our members headed to Taste of Hong Kong in Telopea for lunch together.

We enjoyed some delicious Cantonese food, plenty of laughs, and great conversation. It’s always wonderful to spend time together outside the garden and strengthen the friendships that make our community so special.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. Great food, great company, and another enjoyable day with the Sherwin Park Community Garden community! 😊🌿

🌱❄️ Winter is on its way, and the veggies at Sherwin Park Community Garden are loving the cooler weather. With overcast skies and a fresh chill in the air, our winter crops are growing beautifully and beginning to fill the garden beds.

Today’s garden gathering had an international flavour, with members enjoying a selection of delicious snacks brought back from Japan following a recent trip. It was a wonderful opportunity to share stories, enjoy good food, and connect with fellow gardeners.

There’s always something growing, and something to celebrate, at Sherwin Park Community Garden! 🌿🥕🍠🇯🇵

🌸💐 What a beautiful morning at Sherwin Park Community Garden! 💐🌸

Today we enjoyed a wonderful bouquet-making workshop organised and hosted by the amazing Salam, Jenny and Joy. 🌿✨

With the sunshine warming a perfect autumn morning, we had a fantastic turnout, created beautiful bouquets, shared lots of laughter, and met many lovely new friends along the way. 💛

A special thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so welcoming and joyful.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mums, grandmothers, carers and special women in our community. 🌷💕
