Girl Guides Blacktown

Wednesday - Blacktown Girl Guides went to Sea World and had an amazing time. We have some. Champion riders who stepped out of their comfort zones, faced their fears went on rides. Some girls went on rides 3-5 times 🤣❤️Blacktown City CouncilChris Bowen MPGirl Guides NSW, ACT & NTGreater Rivers Region Girl Guides

A little delayed post - just like our arrival in Queensland 😉 Blacktown Girl Guides travelled from Blacktown Station to the Sydney Domestic Airport. We left before the sun was up & arrived a little later than we wanted! We had some nervous passengers, some tired passengers and some who want to know everything (Luna).Blacktown City CouncilChris Bowen MPGirl Guides NSW, ACT & NTGreater Rivers Region Girl Guides

Tuesdays Gold Coast adventures had our Blacktown Girl Guides learning life saving skills with Miami Beach Surf Life Saving Club and our mascot Luna (the turtle). The guides out did themselves, demonstrating CPR, learning about rips & currents and even participating in mock rescues. Blacktown Girl Guides are stepping up this October with fundraising for MakeAWish Foundation - supporting sick children throughout their tough journeys.

I'm supporting Make-A-Wish this Halloween! Make-A-Wish® Australia creates inspirational wishes for children with critical illnesses. There are currently more than 900 kids on a Wish Journey - with every donation, we are one step closer to making the wish of every eligible Australian child come true...
