A huge thank you to a lovely family who donated this brand new air fryer to Padstow Community Care! 🥰
It’s going to get plenty of use — whether it’s helping us whip up something delicious for Breaking Bread, supporting one of our other programs, or simply coming in handy when we’re feeding people and putting good food to good use. 🍽️✨
And yes… before you ask — the kids are NOT included in the donation! 😂😂
We’re incredibly grateful for the generosity and kindness behind this donation. It’s amazing how something as simple as an air fryer can become another little tool for us to support our community. ❤️

Our awning has had a fabulous spring makeover thanks to some very talented and creative volunteers! 💕🌼
With colourful yarn, plenty of patience and a whole lot of love, they’ve turned our awning into a gorgeous celebration of spring — and we absolutely LOVE it! 🌈🌷
A huge thank you to the wonderful volunteers who gave their time, creativity and energy to make this happen. You’ve certainly brightened up our day… and our awning! 🥰

For over 25 years, Padstow Community Care has been providing emergency relief support to people in our community when unexpected challenges arise.
From helping with essentials, providing practical assistance, offering a listening ear and connecting people with further support — our focus has always been on making sure people feel seen, valued and supported.
Over the years, the way we provide assistance has changed to meet the needs of our community, but one thing has remained the same: our commitment to caring for our neighbours. 🤝
Every conversation, every referral, every food parcel, every helping hand and every act of kindness plays a part in creating a stronger, more connected community.
Thank you to our volunteers, supporters, donors and community partners who have helped us continue this important work for more than two decades. 💙

Following the success of our pilot, we’re proud to share that our Seniors Advocate Program is now ongoing!
This program is designed to uplift, empower and support our local seniors by connecting them with a trained volunteer advocate who can walk alongside them, help navigate services, attend appointments, offer guidance, and champion their wellbeing. It’s all about ensuring no senior feels alone in managing life’s practical challenges.
If you or someone you know would benefit from:
✔ A friendly support person
✔ Help navigating services or appointments
✔ Someone in your corner when things get overwhelming
✔ A stronger sense of connection and confidence

From the very beginning, Padstow Community Care has been more than a place of support — it has been a place where community comes together. 💙
Since our beginnings in 1985, PCC has been committed to providing practical assistance and responding to the changing needs of our community. One of the ways we have done this from the start is through our op shop — a place where pre-loved items find new homes and every purchase helps support the work we do.
What started as a simple way to help people access affordable clothing and household items has grown into what is now Renew Community Store — a much-loved part of our community. 🛍️♻️
Every donation, every bargain found, every volunteer hour and every customer who walks through our doors helps continue the ripple effect of kindness.
Because an op shop is never just an op shop…
It’s a place of connection, sustainability, opportunity and hope. 💙

Padstow Community Care has been supporting local families for decades—and for many years, that included operating a Long Day Care Centre.
The centre provided a safe, nurturing place where children could learn, play and grow, while giving parents and carers the support they needed to work, study or simply know their little ones were being well cared for.
Although our services have evolved over the years, our mission has remained the same: supporting people, strengthening our community, and responding to local needs.
We're proud of our history and excited to continue making a difference in new ways every day. ❤️
