Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views, experiences and hopes for the future.
Over the past 12 months, the Treaty Commissioners have listened to Aboriginal people across NSW through community conversations, surveys, submissions and other engagements.

The Commissioners are now bringing together what they have heard to inform their Final Report to the NSW Government.

Your voices will help shape what comes next.

Meet Taite Gibson, a proud Biripi woman speaking out about why Treaty matters for young Aboriginal people across New South Wales.

Following a recent NSW Treaty Yarn at Mounty Aboriginal Youth & Community Services on Dharug Land in Mount Druitt, Taite shared her vision for what true representation and treaty mean for future generations:

“I think this is a great stepping stone for young mob to push into their potential and lead, considering that we’re the future generations... My hopes for the future is to see young mob represented in all of it”.
