🐾 REUNITED & IT FEELS SO GOOD! 🐾

We have some wonderful news to share! This beautiful black and white Jack Russell is officially back home where they belong. ❤️

This little adventurer decided to go on a solo mission and followed a wonderful, kind-hearted citizen all the way to their house. Knowing the pup needed help, they immediately reached out to the community on Facebook.

Thanks to that quick thinking and the incredible power of our local network, Lyons K9 was able to step in, coordinate, and get this sweet pup safely back into the arms of their family. 🐶✨

A massive thank you to the amazing citizen who looked after them, and to everyone who shared the original post. It truly takes a village, and we have the best one around!

🎉🐾 PAW-SOME NEWS: We are officially 1 YEAR OLD! 🐾🎉

Can you believe it? Today marks exactly one year since Lyons K9 opened its doors (and gates, and crates)! What a wild, wonderful, and incredibly rewarding ride it has been.

From the very first tail wag to the hundreds of pups we’ve had the privilege of working with, this year has been nothing short of amazing. But we didn't get here alone!

We want to send a massive, heartfelt congratulations and thank you to our incredible partners at One Rescue NSW - Lost Pet Search, Trap & Rescue, who are also celebrating their 1-year anniversary of saving lives and making a difference! 🥳❤️

From day one, their support, dedication, and shared passion for animal welfare have been invaluable to us. We are so proud to stand alongside them in our community, helping loved pets find their footing, their training, and their forever homes.

To celebrate, here is a look at our Year 1 by the numbers:

Countless belly rubs given 🐾
Thousands of treats deservingly eaten 🦴
Infinite zoomies witnessed ⚡
2 passionate teams working together! 🤝

🐾 LOCALS SUPPORTING LOCALS! 🐾

We wanted to share a quick, heartwarming story that reminds us just how incredible our local community is.

Recently, the lovely Agirgun family—the wonderful faces behind Grabba Kebab Quakers Hill—reached out to us here at Lyons K9 with every pet parent’s worst nightmare: their beloved dog, Spud, had gone missing.

When a family trusts us with a mission this important, we hit the ground running. Thanks to a fast response and some efficient tracking, we were absolutely thrilled to locate Spud and reunite him safely with his family in no time at all! Seeing that wagging tail back where it belongs is exactly why we do what we do.

🌯 A MASSIVE THANK YOU!

The Agirgun family were so incredibly grateful that they surprised our team with some of the most delicious kebabs straight from the kitchen at Grabba Kebab! To say we were spoiled is an understatement—it was absolutely phenomenal.

We want to extend a huge thank you to the family, not just for the amazing food, but for putting your trust in Lyons K9 during such a stressful moment.

The entire team here at Lyons K9 want to pass on a huge congratulations to our founders Brenda and Jess on their 2nd Wedding Anniversary and we wish them a lifetime of amazing years together

This morning we responded to this call out for help. Thankfully Gracy here was microchipped and has been reunited with his loved ones after being a little bit of an escape artist. Thank you to the mysterious person who popped him
Into the fenced area so he was safe from the main roads until we were able to get there and assist.

Thank you to the staff of Harvey’s Social cafe for putting this call out to help this boy get home safe.

And again thank you to Gracys owner who has ensured he is microchipped and the details are up to date and accurate. This has played a crucial part in getting him reunited again quickly. We cannot emphasise enough how important this is.

The entire team at Lyons K9 wishes to pay their respects to all defence personnel past and present including those brave animals who have previously and currently are serving to protect and fight for our freedoms.

Today is a very special day for us as we have direct family who previously served an astonishing 30+ years in the Royal Australian Navy.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

UPDATE: Spud has been found safe and sound. Thank you to all that shared and to the lovely lady that picked him up and kept him safe.

Spud is now getting lots of loving and treats from his family.
