🎉 Big Happy News 🎉

Our sweet girl Mimsy has officially started her 2 week adoption trial and honestly she had her new family melting from her very first meow 😻✨

And her siblings Lucy and Fletch (who were returned to their backyard in Penshurst last month) have their own exciting update. Tomorrow they’ll be meeting our superstar foster carer Kate, the ultimate cat whisperer 🐈‍⬛💫, who will be bringing them into her care.

Lucy came into temporary care last night and this afternoon we’ll be gently collecting ultra shy Fletch so he can start feeling safe and loved too.

A very good day for this little trio 💛

🐾 MEET UMI 🐾

At 7 months old, Umi is a playful, cheeky boy with a huge personality and a zest for life.

He's the brave explorer of the family, always first to investigate a new toy, chase a string, or see what's happening on the other side of the room. Curious, energetic and endlessly entertaining, Umi brings fun wherever he goes.

While he's still building confidence around people, he's come an incredibly long way in foster care. These days he happily seeks out chin scratches and tummy rubs, and once he feels safe, his affectionate side shines. In fact, he'll often ask for more pats when you stop.

Umi is also a clever little guy who's been learning tricks in foster care, proving that there's a very smart brain behind all that kitten mischief.

He's great with other cats, loves his food (and would happily eat yours too if given the chance), and is growing in confidence every single day.

Umi is looking for a patient, loving home that will continue helping him discover just how wonderful life can be. In return, you'll get a funny, affectionate and incredibly rewarding companion 💛

🐾 MEET HARU 🐾

At 7 months old, Haru is a gentle, thoughtful boy who has quietly blossomed into a beautiful young cat.

When he first arrived in foster care, Haru thought that beneath the sofa was a good place to be. But with patience, kindness and time, he's discovered that people can be pretty wonderful!

These days, Haru LOVES tummy rubs, gives affectionate little licks to your fingers, and has even been learning tricks in foster care. Behind those sweet eyes is a clever, curious kitten.

Haru is the kind of cat who forms deep bonds. He may take a little time to settle in, but once he trusts you, you'll have a loyal companion for life.

After months of waiting, Haru is more than ready to find a forever home where he can continue to flourish 💛

We want to say THANK YOU to the many who reached out and offered to help last week when we were urgently seeking a safe, caring foster home for Maggie.

As a result, we're thrilled to let you know that:

We're seeking carers in the Sutherland Shire, Georges River, Bayside and upper Illawarra areas. Carers need to be available for a minimum of two months for kittens and four months for adults.

One day after being desexed our little kitten is settling perfectly into a pampered life. She's a little girl and foster carer Kate has worked her magic in getting this little one feeling right at home.

Despite being born homeless, it is clear she belongs indoors.

Kate will be naming this little girl and she'll soon be available for adoption.

MEET PACO

Paco is a smoochy 6 month old boy who lives for cuddles and snuggles. With soft fur, he's so easy to love. He enjoys cuddling on laps and is happy to lie on his back like a baby. As long as he's getting cuddled, he's into it.

And when he's not soaking up all the love, he's incredibly playful. He's a very cat-friendly kitten and quickly made friends in foster care. While he loves to play with others, he's equally comfortable entertaining himself.

His favourite toy is a butterfly on a long string, suctioned to the window. He can pull that butterfly for ages, but it always eventually springs away. It blows his mind that he can't carry his prey away to his lair.

Paco is very people-oriented, and is friendly and confident. He's learning that hands are not toys and that kitchen counters are off-limits. He gets a little over-excited in the litter tray, digging into that litter like a cartoon dog digging a hole to bury a bone. Other than that, this gorgeous boy is just about perfect. 👌

Maggie's third and final kitten was finally caught yesterday and is off to the vet this morning to be desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

S/he is then going into foster care thanks to Kate.
