💛 R U OK? Day – A Conversation Can Make a Difference 💛

Today, Hornsby Multicultural Society Australia Inc. joins communities across Australia in recognising R U OK? Day.

Sometimes, a simple “Are you okay?” can open the door to a conversation that someone may really need. 💬

In our multicultural community, we come from different cultures, languages and backgrounds, but looking after one another connects us all. 🤝🌏

Today, take a moment to:
💛 Ask someone, “Are you okay?”
👂 Listen without judgement
❤️ Encourage them to seek support if they need it
🤝 Stay connected and check in again

You don't need to have all the answers. Sometimes, being there and listening is enough to make someone feel less alone.

Let’s continue building a caring, connected and supportive community where everyone feels seen, heard and valued.

R U OK? 💛

Our heart goes out to everyone affected by the catastrophic flash floods.

You are in our thoughts and prayers 🕯️
