Our Story
The Military Brotherhood Military Motorcycle Club (MBMMC) is a military motorcycle club for serving and ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Forces, Commonwealth and Allied Forces, their families, friends and their supporter base. The MBMMC is a club that will not discriminate between male and female members whether service members or supporters.
The MBMMC commenced in 2009. It’s proud heritage lies in its initial membership with the Patriots Australia Motorcycle Club. It evolved from its grounding with Patriots Australia, adopting a greater purpose and mission. As a Club tribute, the MB wears the same colours (Red and Black) as worn by Patriots Australia. Our proud breast patch is a testimony to our tri-service heritage and where we came from. The patch symbolises our ‘triple nature’ comprising Navy, Army and Airforce personnel, both Permanent and Reserve services, for both males and females. Additionally, and depending on the branch of service, we all wear the DPCU or DPNU on the back of our vests, along with our ‘Military Brotherhood’ ‘number plate’ patch to advise all of our proud Defence links.
The MBMMC’s mission is to provide camaraderie, mateship and firm support. The MBMMC was raised to provide essential support to ex-serving and serving Veterans through a partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), the Returned Services League (RSL), and other Ex Services Organisations (ESO), just as the Vietnam Veterans do, but more for our upcoming young Veterans. MBMMC has members who have been trained in providing welfare, pension and advocacy support for all Veterans and are very dedicated to that purpose.
The MBMMC runs in strict accordance with the Department of Defence guidelines. We do not allow non prescription drugs, violence, nor sexist behavior. We promote the same policies as the Department of Defence.
