Congratulations to Maisie S from WU9s! 👏

“This is Maisie’s first year in our team and already she’s become a key player and a leader. Her enthusiasm rubs off on everyone (including the coach). She always goes hard at the ball and has added so much grit and determination to our team.

Her skills and composure on the ball continue to improve every week, and her hard work is really starting to show. We’re so lucky to have her in our team, and with her enthusiasm and the way she’s developing, we can’t wait to see what she produces over the rest of the season.”

Congratulations to Lochlan from our U10s! 👏

“Lochlan has been instrumental at the back as the goalkeeper, making an incredible 10 saves in less than 20 minutes! He showed great bravery and leadership, constantly organising and strengthening our defensive line. His outstanding effort helped the team secure their very first clean sheet- a fantastic achievement for the U10s!”

Congratulations to Mehal D from U11/1! 👏

“In a tight, hard-fought game, Mehal was exactly the kind of player every team needs when the going gets tough. Up front all game, he made run after run, pressed the defenders relentlessly, and never once let his head drop - even when the results weren’t going their way.

That kind of effort doesn’t always show up on the scoresheet, but it lifts the whole team and sets the tone for everyone around him. Mehal embodied everything we stand for as Wombats today - respect, effort, and resilience from the first whistle to last.

In a loss that could have broken spirits, he helped keep ours high. That’s a special quality.”
