After 17 years on the water with Marine Rescue Middle Harbour, today we farewelled Charlie Watch's Len Cole. Len has been a fixture with the Unit since its inception and faithfully crewed our vessels in fair weather and foul. Thank you for your service and all the best for the next chapter in your retirement.

A lucky break today for a father and son off Sydney Heads. MH30 was offshore doing an Operational Assessment and passed by the pair whose vessel had developed mechanical issues. A real life rescue was the perfect way to end our newly minted Coxswain's practical assessment. Well done team!
