Homelessness is not someone else's issue. It affects Muslim individuals and families in our community too.

By raising awareness, supporting one another and connecting people with the right services, we can help ensure everyone has access to safety, stability and a place to call home. 💙

For many individuals and families, keeping a roof over their heads is becoming increasingly difficult. Rising housing costs, combined with the increasing cost of living, are forcing more people into housing insecurity and homelessness

Everyone deserves access to safe, stable and affordable housing. Addressing homelessness starts with tackling the barriers that put people at risk in the first place.

Homelessness is often driven by domestic and family violence, forcing many women and children to leave home in search of safety.

This is why MWA’s Linking Hearts service exists. We help in providing end-to-end support for culturally and linguistically diverse families experiencing domestic violence, including financial assistance, counselling, legal aid, emergency housing, and more.

A day to remember. 💚

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the official launch of MWA's Bass Hill Core & Cluster Group Home. Your presence and support made this milestone even more meaningful.

Together, we celebrated more than the opening of a new space, we celebrated hope, safety and the opportunity for women and children escaping domestic and family violence to rebuild their lives with dignity in a supportive community.

To our government representatives, community leaders, partners, supporters and everyone who helped bring this vision to life, thank you for walking alongside us. This is a milestone that will create lasting change for years to come.
