ANNOUNCEMENT
Following the Direction Générale de la Sûreté Nationale (DGSN)'s announcement that December 31st, 2013 will be the final deadline for the renewal of the old National Identity Card, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Canberra informs its fellow Moroccan citizens in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific islands that the agent in charge of the Electronic National Identity Card (CNIE) will be in Australia to this effect and will deliver services at the venues hereafter, according to the following timetable:

The Embassy's desk office will operate from 09:00 am to 16:00 pm.
Required documents:
Ø Old National Identity Card (copy thereof in case of loss);
Ø Original birth certificate in both Arabic and French (delivered within 6 to 8 months from application) OR family book;
Ø 2 photos (3,5 * 4,5 cm, front view with white or light grey background similar to photos for the biometric passport);
Ø Registration card at Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Canberra;
Ø Stamp fees: AUD 13 = 105 DH
