1950 Matchless G3L
Built to look like a 1949 G3LC Trials.
** Has been geared down with Engine sprocket and final drive front sprocket for 'Trials' use.
Bike has never been ridden, only started and run twice after commissioning.
All parts have come from UK.

Could be converted to road easily.
Needs final fettling to ride and enjoy.

Reason for selling ? My job means I work too many hours, and weekends, so I don't get time to work on the bike and no longer in the Trials Club, nor have the time to ride it.
Have just inherited a couple of other english bikes that need work, and need the space.

Frame & Forks
+ Rigid frame straightened by QLD's best frame guy
+ 2 pac painted
+ Forks have been rebuilt with bushes and seals.
+ Custom Stainless header and new muffler
+ 2 pac painted tin ware
+ Fuel tank - Indian - from local source (victoria) paint is bubbling unfortunately. (does not leak)

Came across this alternative solution for the centre main bearing, for early 500 twin cranks. Early model replacement bearings are hard to find, so this is a excellent replacement, if you have access to a machine shop.

Hi everyone, 28 years ago dad sold his pride and joy a 1954 A.J.S 350 he restored with my Pa. As far as we know it was sold to an elderly man also named Stan on the esplande at pt willunga by the star of greece. 28 years later the bike is still registered to dad and we desperately want to find it due to the sentimental value and get it back in the family. Matchless G12 CS 1961 Chassis A79804 Engine 61G12CSX6500
Currently unregistered, registration having been cancelled 12/12/2018. This bike was taken off the
road in 2018 but we do not know the reason for this as the owner died recently and this now forms
part of his estate. It is a non-runner and we suspect this may be due to magneto problems. The
overall presentation is good as seen from the photos. Oil and fuel lines have been replaced as
needed and the battery replaced. Speedo reading is 1957 miles, but as it’s been through at least
three owners since 1961 the actual figure could be anything. Bike will be sold unregistered and
without a roadworthy.
