QI in Action: Improving Allied Health Onboarding and Orientation.

We spotlight QIL Graduate Katrine Nehyba’s improvement project focused on enhancing the onboarding and orientation experience for allied health staff at Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group.

Short Notice Assessments are changing how healthcare organisations approach accreditation.

Rather than reviewing prepared documentation, assessors look at how safety and quality systems operate during business as usual.

National Reconciliation Week (27 May–3 June) is here!

The 2026 theme “All In For Reconciliation” is a call for all of us to step away from the sidelines and take action to make change.

As ACHS implements the actions and deliverables set out in the INNOVATE stage of our Action Plan (RAP), we are developing relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders to help produce a that is meaningful, mutually beneficial, and sustainable.

From the recently released 2025 RAP Impact Report, we are proud that ACHS staff are one of the 1 in 5 Australians who now work or study in an organisation with a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
