On Friday 9th October from 11:45am, Panania Senior Citizens Club will be hosting a free talk on staying safe from scams. We will cover common online and phone scams, tips on how to avoid them and share resources in case you are caught up in one.

A massive thank you to our friends Dr Katie and Ann for today's informative presentation. A bumper crowd enjoyed hearing about what exactly OT is, how it may benefit us as we age and practical tips on how to stay healthy and fit.

Enable Me Occupational Therapy, thank you for sharing your knowledge, for answering our questions and for keeping us informed on the ever-changing government supports that will help our members.

Panania Senior Citizens Club is considering holding a free members only event on Scam Awareness in October.

Given the rise of sophisticated online and phone scams, it will be a short presentation on common scams, prevention and what to do if you find yourself compromised.

Please express your interest by sending us an email ([email protected]), comment on this post or a message here on facebook. If the event proceeds, we will share the information via the normal channels.

If you'd like to attend events such as these, social lunches and access our weekly exercise classes, club membership is only $10 per year. It's a great way to stay connected and remain active with other local seniors. Please contact us for more information on how to join.

Free Members Special Event. Local business Enable Me Occupational Therapy will be hosting a free members event, where they will talk about promoting healthy aging, when OT may be beneficial and practical tips and strategies on how to maximise independence as we manage age-related changes.

The event will be held at Panania Senior Citizens Club on Friday 21st August from 11:45am (following Gentle Exercise). The session will include morning tea.
