The CEF welcomed a wonderful group of women to our Women for Catholic Education Giving Circle Spring Luncheon, bringing together individuals united by a shared commitment to creating greater opportunities for young women through Catholic education.

We were especially privileged to hear from two students from Mount St Joseph Catholic College Milperra, who shared their stories and reflected on the difference a bursary has made to their journey through Catholic education.

Their stories were a powerful reminder of what can be possible when young people have access to the right support and opportunities to pursue their goals.

The Giving Circle supports young female students experiencing financial, cultural or social barriers, helping them to learn, grow and thrive. Together, we can create Opportunities for All, helping more students discover their gifts, build confidence and realise their potential.

The Catholic Education Foundation extends its sincere thanks to Liverpool Catholic Club for its generous support of the 2168 Sadlier-Miller Breakfast Club at St Therese Catholic Primary School Sadleir.

With many local families continuing to experience financial hardship, the Breakfast Club provides a vital source of support for students who may otherwise start the school day without a nutritious meal.

Your generosity helps ensure students have access to breakfast in a safe and welcoming environment, supporting their wellbeing, concentration, attendance, and readiness to learn. Beyond providing meals, the program fosters connection, belonging, and positive relationships among students, families and staff.

Together, we are helping to reduce food insecurity, ease financial pressure on families, and ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Thank you for making a meaningful difference in the lives of students and families in the Sadlier-Miller community.

The Catholic Education Foundation gathered at the Sydney Catholic Schools Central Office to deliver the Emergency Food Relief Program, providing Coles vouchers to four Sydney Catholic schools across the City of Sydney LGA.

This initiative provides practical and confidential support to families experiencing financial hardship, helping ensure students have access to essential food during challenging times.

We sincerely thank City Of Sydney RSL Club for their generosity and commitment to supporting local families and communities.

One participating school shared that the vouchers made a significant difference to families facing challenges including unemployment, homelessness, domestic violence and family separation, with many families' expressing deep relief and gratitude for the support received.

Together, we continue to strengthen support for families in need across our school communities.
