Sydney Friendship Force had a tour of the Gallipoli Mosque at Auburn. What a beautiful building featuring traditional Ottoman design, including multiple domes and twin minarets. It was interesting to hear they had built an aged care facility next door and also a hall for the youth. We would like to thank the gentleman who conducted our tour.

This week Sydney Friendship Force visited Bursa FF in Turkey. 12 ambassadors joined this exchange from Sydney, Tamworth, Newcastle and Adelaide FF Club. Wonderful to see clubs joining together. With the war in the Middle East, I realise there was a lot of tension with planning their flights. Their Journey Coordinator Rhonda, keeping her cool, helped everybody get through it.
I believe they had a wonderful time, and we might get some more photos with some text.

Here they are viewing the coloured bees, and bees symbols are everywhere in the City.

The Manchester bee, a symbol of the city for over 150 years represents Manchester’s industrial heritage, hard work and unity. Adopted in 1842, it represents the city as a “hive of activity” during the Industrial Revolution.
Following the 2017 arena attack it became a powerful emblem of solidarity resilience and community strengths.
