Peter Malinauskas had a choice. Bring the Adelaide Remand Centre back into public hands – like the NSW Labor government just did – or hand it back to Serco for another five years.

He chose Serco.

This is what it looks like when a government sells out workers for big business.

This week we celebrate the work that our custodial and non custodial members do in gaols and the community to reshape lives and keep our community safe.
From the Pilbara and Broome to Hobart, CPSU corrections workers are at work now, all day, and every day helping to change offending behaviours.
We thank the thousands of members for their difficult work.
