Thanks Woollahra Council for supporting us through an environmental grant – ‘Plotting Ahead’ Stage 2 is now complete.

A heartfelt thank you to our members, friends, and visitors who lent a hand over the past 12 months to rebuild eight plots. We’ve introduced a new steel post system, making future maintenance much simpler, with sleepers that slide in and out – no screws required.

We’re excited to return to double-height garden beds, enriched with organic matter to improve soil health and moisture retention. Our garden plots were gradually being reclaimed by the garden, so this renewal is making a real difference.

The garden is looking fantastic. Two years into the project, 13 of 37 plots are now complete, all at a comfortable height for gardening, learning, and enjoying a cuppa.

We meet on the third Sunday of each month from 2–4 pm for a working bee. You’re welcome to join in, or just drop by to say hello and have a look around. Organic plants and seedlings are also available to support our fundraising efforts.

Olivier Raven wanted to create a biodiversity boost on his street, but the council says he must take the project elsewhere.
