Youth hubs do something special: they meet young people where they are, build trust over time, and create genuine connection to community. It's flexible, place-based, relational work, and it's exactly what young people need.

Youth Action NSW has released an illustration by Jess Harwood Art and Illustration that brings this to life visually, and we're proud to share it.

Today, our CEO Melissa Collins attended Bayside Council's Sorry Day ceremony, where Aunty Brenda Matthews, a member of the Stolen Generations, shared her remarkable story.

In Melissa's words:

'We live, work and care for our Elders on Bidjigal and Gadigal Country. We acknowledge the cost to the Aboriginal community of the loss and ongoing sharing of their land, and we strive to listen, to understand, and to learn.'

Aunty Brenda's story is told in the documentary The Last Daughter, on ABC iview and Netflix.

Knowing what to do in an emergency can make all the difference – and this free online session with Dr Debbie Perkins will give you the confidence to act fast when it matters most.

Join us on Monday 15 June, 9:30–11:30 am via Microsoft Teams for a practical session covering CPR, choking, drowning, accidental ingestions, burns, sunburn and bites.

All you need is the Teams app on your phone or computer. Register and we'll send you the link before the session.
