Over 3 days in Canberra this week, we brought your voices to 10 MPs and advisers, sharing our Unlock Solar for Renters campaign and new independent economic modelling from Rennie Advisory.

By putting strong evidence and community support in front of decision-makers, we're building momentum for practical solutions that help more renters access the benefits of rooftop solar.

We're encouraged by the positive engagement and excited to keep driving this campaign forward in the months ahead.

Millions of Australian renters are missing out on the benefits of rooftop solar, despite often facing some of the highest energy costs.

In this conversation, we unpack our independent economic modelling from Rennie Advisory that explores how accelerated depreciation could help close the gap by encouraging investment in solar and energy-efficient appliances in rental properties.

Good policy can align the interests of renters, landlords and the energy transition.

Australia's EV transition is accelerating ☀️🚗

More than 500,000 Australians are already driving electric vehicles. Teachers. Nurses. Tradies. Families. People who made the switch because it saves money, cuts pollution and helps build a cleaner future.

But as governments make decisions about charging, incentives, road user charges and the future of transport, EV drivers need a seat at the table.

That's why Solar Citizens is launching a new initiative, EV Drivers Australia (EVDA).
EVDA will bring together EV drivers and supporters from across the country to ensure the people already leading Australia's transport transition have a strong, organised voice in the decisions that affect them.

Together, we can push for better charging infrastructure, fair policies, stronger incentives and a cleaner transport future for everyone.

Join us and help shape the future of electric transport in Australia.

Solid analysis piece by ABC Australia Chief Business Correspondent Ian Verrender on how Australian households have transformed the energy equation - as a force of energy producers, now selling stored power back into the grid and cutting out expensive gas - to bring down prices for all.

Fossil fuels, which have powered the global economy for centuries, are under threat. And Australia has become ground zero in this global battle.
