The University of Sydney Chancellor's Committee The University of Sydney Chancellor’s Committee is a volunteer-run group who run the Gift Shop and Annual Book Fair to raise money for a range of causes.

Located on Camperdown campus, beneath the Quadrangle Clocktower, close to the Information Desk. Established in 1977 on the initiative of the late Sir Hermann Black, the Chancellor's Committee comprises a group of volunteers raising money for projects of university-wide significance. These projects include student scholarships and art projects. The Chancellor's Committee runs a store that sells a r

ange of gift ideas, from tourist souvenirs to graduation gifts and University of Sydney memorabilia. The Chancellor's Committee also runs an online book store through Ebay. Check out: chancellors.bookroom_3

USYD Rocketry Team is back at the International Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC) with Project Galah!

We’re proud to join teams from around the world in Midland, Texas and represent Australia and the University of Sydney at IREC 2026. We’re so excited to be back, and even more excited to share what we’ve been working on. Galah is the first hybrid rocket that we have designed, manufactured, tested and brought to competition within a year.

Come visit us tomorrow during the IREC Poster Session at the Horseshoe Pavilion - Team 708. We’ll be at the corner next to the merchandise store. Keep an eye out for our pink rocket and orange table cloth!
