Here, we’re sharing Julia’s story from an unforgettable experience, with the hope of encouraging others to take part in the incredible opportunities available to young members of our community. 🇵🇱♥️🇦🇺

“I am incredibly grateful to have had the honour of representing Australia alongside two other girls in the debating final and leadership program held in Warsaw, organised by the incredible Szkoła Liderstwa. It was an unforgettable experience and a truly rewarding opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with inspiring young people from around the world. Throughout the week-long program, I had the privilege of participating in engaging discussion sessions, leadership workshops, collaborative group tasks, talks delivered by inspiring leaders and of course, the final debate. These experiences deepened my understanding of what it means to be a leader while allowing me to develop valuable skills in communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and leadership.
Beyond the educational aspect of the program, I formed meaningful friendships with people from all over the world, creating memories and connections that I will always cherish. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who made this opportunity possible, and I will carry the lessons, experiences, and friendships from this program with me for years to come.”

We just got back from Polonia Camp in Warszawa! 🇵🇱♥️🇦🇺

This year, 20 young people represented Australia at the camp 🥳 It was an amazing opportunity to meet young Poles from around the world, make new friends, learn, share experiences and have lots of fun together! 🌍

Here’s what some of our participants had to say about the event:

“Na campie jest super atmosfera! Wszyscy mieszkają razem w akademikach na SGGW, a aktywności trwają od rana do wieczora:) Jest to super szansa do integracji i poznawania nowych osób.” - Zuzia
• “The atmosphere at camp is amazing! Everyone stays together in the dorms at SGGW, and activities run from morning until evening:) It’s a great opportunity to connect with others and meet new people.”

Dołącz do projektu „Wizyty studyjne młodzieży polonijnej w Polsce” – międzynarodowego programu skierowanego do młodych przedstawicieli Polonii z całego świata. Projekt realizowany jest przez Stowarzyszenie Polonia Connect w ramach konkursu „Polonia i Polacy za Granicą 2026”.

Podczas 8-dniowej wizyty w Polsce uczestnicy wezmą udział w:
🇵🇱 7 wizytach studyjnych,
🎓 2 warsztatach rozwijających kompetencje,
🤝 spotkaniach z liderami życia publicznego,
🏛️ zwiedzaniu miejsc ważnych dla historii i współczesnego wizerunku Polski,
🌍 integracji z młodzieżą polonijną z różnych krajów świata.

Organizator zapewnia zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie, materiały edukacyjne, bilety wstępu, komunikację miejską, ubezpieczenie oraz pełne zaplecze organizacyjne.

🌍 Obszar: cały świat
✈️ Termin wizyty: 23–30 listopada 2026 r.
