Good news for travellers and the travel industy.

Following ATIA’s ongoing work with DFAT and Campaign for Commonsense, the Federal Government has today announced the downgrading of the Level 4 warning for Bahrain, Israel, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Level 3.

ATIA members have been sent a toolkit to help explain what this change means for travellers across social media and client communications.

✈️Happy Fun Fact Friday! ATIA’s June Travel Trends report is out now.

We all know that Australians love travelling to Indonesia, which often takes the top spot as our #1 international travel destination.

But did you know that Bali (just one Indonesian island out of over 17,000!) is the reason why Indonesia is consistently #1 for Aussies?

For more fun facts, ATIA members can subscribe to our monthly Travel Trends report by heading to atia.travel.

One industry body. One voice for the travel industry.

In a historic moment for the Australian travel industry, both ATIA and CATO members have both voted in favour of the merger, uniting the two bodies with CATO constitutionally protected as a Division within ATIA.

The merger marks a turning point in Australian travel, benefiting travel businesses across the board with:

✅Better advocacy

✅Stronger support for members

✅One accreditation scheme

Every booking starts with a destination.

But every great travel experience starts with a conversation.

The question is...

Are we having the right ones?

At Beyond Borders on the Road, Nicole O'Sullivan will explore what today's travellers are really looking for, why customer expectations are changing and what mystery shopping is revealing about the conversations happening across our industry right now.

If you're a travel advisor, sales leader, wholesaler or supplier looking to create stronger customer connections, this session is for you.
