Australia has downgraded its Middle East travel advice for key Gulf hubs, easing warnings from "Do Not Travel" to "Reconsider your need to travel".

Good news for travellers and the travel industy.

Following ATIA’s ongoing work with DFAT and Campaign for Commonsense, the Federal Government has today announced the downgrading of the Level 4 warning for Bahrain, Israel, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Level 3.

ATIA members have been sent a toolkit to help explain what this change means for travellers across social media and client communications.
