When Winter comes, things 'must' heat up here!!.

That's a wrap for us here!!
Although we didn't hit our goal this year, we are still proud to have contributed over $1200.00 to this year or last year 🤔?, still not sure how that works 😆 but as the old saying goes with charities, 'EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS'.
We just want to thank EVERYONE who donated this year, with the shambles Australia is in right now and the cost of living hitting everyone, we do really appreciate every dollar donated so a huge thank you from all of us 🙏❤️🫂.

With only a bit of sweeping up and TLC to the lawns, we smashed our '7 Day Challenge' again for packing up the display for another year, well 7 months till we unpack again for this year 🤣🤣.

We hope 2026 brings you all nothing but love, hope and abundance.
There will be a huge announcement for our display coming at the end of the year, so watch this space.

Hi everyone, last night we decided to close our walk through for the last time in 2025. We would really like a head start to our pack up this year which is why we decided to cut it short by a day. The good news is we will still have our house lights going with the beautiful window diplays going till December 31st, which will be our final night. Thank you to everyone that came and enjoyed our little piece of Christmas wonderland and a big thank you to all that donated to the Dolly's Dream, we will do a final count on the total in a couple of days.

On behalf of Louise Kearns Marchant, Steve Jenkinson, Gary Marchant and Amanda Stevens we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Thank you to all that have come out to see our little Christmas world and dug deep to support 'Dolly's Dream'. Although we couldn't reach our target this year, we are well over $1000 raised (final number will be available after 1st January) so thank you again to all that have donated to this wonderful cause. After one of our worst years with weather and technical problems, we are actually glad the end is here for this year.
Our backyard is now reset back after having our family together and will be open for 3 more nights. Our final walk through night will be the 30th December and last night for all lights will be 31st December.
Until next year, have a safe and happy new year and thank you again for all your support.

Well!! This year has been a disastrous start, and it keeps on coming ☹️😡.
Last night, around 9:15pm a gust of wind hit our brand new Dinosaur inflatable. The back right leg of the dinosaur took the brunt of it and tore a huge 16 inch hole where the peg anchors it to the ground 😳🤦‍♂️.
To add to this and as predicted, the rain has arrived and with luck not being with us so far, we have made another hard choice to keep the back yard walk through shut again for now and until this wet weather has cleared which could be a couple of days. We pray and beg that this string of bad luck will be behind us by next week and be back to normal by the time school holidays starts.
We thank and appreciate your patience.
Remember, the entire house will still be switched on as too our beautiful window displays and donations for 'Dolly's Dream' are still open, so not all is lost 😊.

Well!! The wind is just holding down tonight so we are opening up tonight 🥳👏👏👌.
The downside is that the wet weather is now moving closer by the hour and may 'dampen' our hopes for a couple of nights this week 🙁.
We will keep everyone posted on the decision as the weather rolls in 🤞🤞🙏🙏.

Hi everyone!!
We regret to inform you that the wind has gotten the better of us this arvo with 'trying' to set up the backyard 😕. Much effort goes into getting things perfect and right for our visitors and sometimes mother nature gets in the way of that.
We've made the unfortunate decision to keep it shut tonight in a bid to save our inflatable displays from being ripped or torn, and make sure they are good to go for another day.
We also will be watching this rain system to hit Sydney late tomorrow and sticking around for most of the week so we also ask everyone to expect the backyard to be shut during this period of heavy rain. We will continue to light up the house, windows and front yard as this is still a great show to see.
Sorry if anyone was planning to come in this time but we will reopen once this weather settles down and will post again when the time comes.

Update on our technical issues from yesterday.
Both problems found however only one is fixed. The bigger issue is this!!!!⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️.
Yes, it's one of our 'home made' power boxes. One wire has loosened over the years and touched the other hence our power tripping out. Very lucky 🙏.
Unfortunately, we won't get this fixed until about 9pm and will need to have the backyard walk through closed up again tonight 💔🙁.
We will 100% be committed to reopening the gate tomorrow night and bring the Christmas cheer to everyone like we strive to do.
Apologies again and again for this irritating hold up.
