The US and Israel are wreaking death and destruction with Australia’s full support.

Israel is continuing to strike Gaza, killing Palestinians and destroying vital medical supplies, despite Hamas negotiating an agreement with Trump’s “Board of Peace” to decommission its weapons. These actions demonstrate that Israel wants nothing short of complete genocide, and the US continues to provide the weapons to carry it out.

Australia is deeply implicated in the supply chain for these weapons, including armoured steel, F35 fighter jet parts and explosives. It also supplies intelligence through the Pine Gap spy base in central Australia that can be used by Israel to pinpoint targets.

If Albanese wanted to help stop the genocide he could cut off this support today. But he is desperate to deepen the US alliance and firm up AUKUS.

In July the Albanese government announced another $4.6 billion to build AUKUS submarines in South Australia. This is on top of the $368 billion they had already committed.

The AUKUS agreement is far from a defensive measure: it is escalating tension with China, plunging money into submarines that could be spent on essential services, and threatening communities including First Nations peoples with nuclear waste dumps on their land.

This International Day of Peace, join the growing calls to scrap AUKUS and stop backing the US and Israel’s wars.

STOP ARMING ISRAEL: NO EXPLOSIVE EXPORTS FOR GENOCIDE

6pm Weds August 26, Sheraton Grand Sydney (opposite Hyde Park) 161 Elizabeth St Sydney CBD

Stop the War on Palestine will protest the Australia and NZ shipping and logistics conference to tell the Albanese government, Thales Australia and shipping company CMA-CGM to stop arming Israel and end explosives exports for genocide. The Australian government and CMA-CGM are sponsors of the conference whose opening dinner is on the evening of Wednesday August 26 at the Sheraton Grand Sydney.

Commercially available U.S. import data shows that between 11/11/2023 and 04/10/2025 alone Thales Australia has exported at least 191.5 tons of nitrocellulose explosives to General Dynamics OTS (GD OTS) who make 155mm artillery shells and propellants, tank ammunition, mortar and small arms rounds provided to Israel. Stop the War on Palestine unearthed this information following an article about the explosives exports published by Dave Milner from The Shot.

From October 2024 onwards the explosives were transported from Australia to the U.S. on a route and vessels operated by French shipping company CMA-CGM. St Marks Powder, the listed buyer, is a subsidiary of GD-OTS and makes 'ball powder' propellant used for 155mm artillery shells, tank ammunition, 120mm mortars and small arms rounds supplied to Israel via the U.S. military.

U.S. government documents show the buyer St Marks Powder provides the propellant to launch 155mm shells. These charges are provided to Israel to fire the shells that war criminal Israeli leaders like Isaac Herzog sign before they are fired on Palestinians. In June 2025 the U.S. Government reported allocating $783 million to replenish Israel's stocks. The U.S. have also supplied Israel with 50, 400 120mm mortars that rely on St Marks Powder.

This is just the latest case that exposes that the Albanese government is lying when it claims it is not arming Israel. The explosives exports must end now and Israel must face comprehensive sanctions.

PINE GAP SPY BASE CONVERGENCE
EYEWITNESS REPORT BACK

📅 6pm Tuesday 4 August

📍 Darlington Activity Centre, 132-134 Shepherd St, Darlington (short walk from Redfern Station)

Over 500 people converged on Mparntwe (Alice Springs) to protest the U.S. run Pine Gap spy base in June this year. The convergence coincided with 60 years since the base opened.

Pine Gap is the most important U.S. intelligence base outside the U.S. mainland and supplies military intelligence for Israel's genocide and Trump's war of aggression on Iran.

Hear from convergence participants about this historic action, including the protest at the gates of the base and a visit to Irrkerlantye (Whitegate) Town Camp where many of the Traditional Owners of the land where Pine Gap was built live.

📣 Speakers include:

Lee Rhiannon, former Greens senator and participant in both the 1987 and 2026 convergences on Pine Gap

Jorgen Doyle, Member of Mparntwe for Falastin, and community journalist writing the militarisminthent sub stack

Come along for an afternoon of art, film, food and local handmade goods! Sunday 12 July, 1pm-5pm at Rikota Studio in Marrickville.

All money raised will help us fund the protest bus from Sydney to Pine Gap leaving in under 2 weeks.

Pine Gap is a US-Australia joint facility built on stolen Arrernte land in the NT. It is used to collect satellite data and is integral to the US war machine, including the genocide in Gaza.

The convergence on Pine Gap takes place July 18-20 and activists are planning travel there from around the country.

We need your help to get there. And we have some fantastic art we can sell you in return!

If you’re a local artist/artisan keen to sell your work for this fundraiser we’d love to hear from you, just message us 💌🇵🇸

Protest the Royal Commission farce to say:

Supporting Palestine is not antisemitic
Stop silencing anti-Zionist Jews
Genocide is a crime, opposing it is not
Stop promoting anti-Palestinian racism

The Albanese government's Royal Commission on antisemitism and social cohesion is a farce. It has been used to demonise Palestine solidarity while denying Palestinian organisations any right to appear at hearings. It has amplified calls for attacks on civil liberties and democratic freedoms and it has relentlessly platformed supporters of Israel and figures from pro-Israel, Zionist organisations while almost completely excluding anti-Zionist Jews from hearings.

Join us outside the Royal Commission's hearings to reject its claims that it's antisemitic to criticise Israel and to stand up for democratic rights.

Why it's right to say Globalise the Intifada

📣Speakers:
Ahmed Ouf, Councillor, Cumberland City Council and Community Advocate
Sara Saleh, Writer, race critical human rights lawyer, and daughter of Palestinian, Lebanese, and Egyptian migrants
Ed Carroll, Jewish activist and Queensland Progressive Party leader arrested for using banned slogan in Brisbane (via Zoom)

VENUE CHANGE:
📍 Darlington Activity Centre, 132 Shepherd St, Darlington (near Redfern Station)

Just over a week ago 20 people were arrested in Brisbane for defying the ban on Palestine protest slogans. In NSW Chris Minns still plans to ban "Globalise the Intifada". This slogan is a call for global solidarity with the Palestinian struggle.

The ban is part of an attempt to smear supporters of Palestine and silence criticism of Israel.

Join us to discuss what it means to Globalise the Intifada and why we need to defy Minns' anti-protest laws.

Join us in a Court Solidarity Protest: Drop the Herzog protesters' charges now!

📅 8.30am Wed 22 April

📍Downing Centre Court
143 Liverpool St, Sydney CBD

Chris Minns attacked basic democratic rights and unleashed brutal police violence during the visit of Israeli President Isaac Herzog in February, in an effort to silence opposition to Israel's ongoing genocide.

The cowardly police attack on the demonstration against Herzog on February 9 saw many severely injured and dozens arrested.

Despicable police violence was caught on camera and beamed around the globe. But shamefully, there has been no justice for those who had their democratic rights trashed and were physically assaulted by police.

In fact, to their eternal shame, NSW police have continued to arrest and charge more protesters from the rally.

We will rally outside Downing Centre Court to stand in solidarity with all those facing this campaign of repression and call for Minns' anti-protest laws to be scrapped and the charges against protestors dropped.

As Israel continues to bomb Gaza, accelerates its ethnic cleansing in the West Bank and rains hell down Lebanon and Iran join us to say that genocide is a crime- protest is not.
